How it works

How AI calling works, end to end

AI calling starts with a lead entering a calling campaign, moves through an actual AI voice conversation, and ends with the outcome, whether booked, failed, or unanswered, automatically recorded and used to update the pipeline.

Getting leads into the system

Leads typically enter an AI calling platform through a CSV upload, a website form, a CRM connection, or an API call. Once added to an active campaign, the lead is queued for an outbound call.

Placing and running the call

The system places the call over a telephony network, and the AI voice agent handles the conversation using the pitch, qualification questions, and instructions configured for that campaign, adapting in real time to what the lead actually says.

Capturing the outcome

After the call ends, the transcript is analyzed to determine the outcome, commonly booked, failed, or no answer. That status updates automatically, along with a stored recording and transcript, and any resulting meeting is booked directly onto a calendar.

Frequently asked

The lead is typically marked as no answer and, depending on your settings, automatically queued for a retry attempt after a defined delay.
